Try out the tasty tapas, which the restaurant has become known for. Featuring choice marinated meats, Italian sausage, locally grown olives, avocado and marinated Jannei goat’s cheese served on a pillow of Turkish bread, you’ll soon see why!

Other popular items of on the lunch menu also include the anise, honey and garlic seasoned roasted pork, seeded mustard seasoned Roasted Beef, and the Chicken dish roasted with soy garlic and honey, which can be served toasted or cold as required. The accompanying regional salad includes slow baked tomato and capsicum, avocado, cucumber snow pea sprouts, boutique lettuce and organic olives, served with Turkish bread and the famous balsamic vinegar, Dukkha. And don’t forget to finish off your meal with a homemade Cake with ice cream & cream topping for dessert.

Daily specials at taste Canowindra are a chance to sample the chef’s specialities. Pan fried prawns marinated in ginger, garlic and sweet chilli sauce served with mint infused cous cous and savoury greens, are a great example of what’s on offer. The dessert specials consist of a tantalising sticky date pudding and crème brulee.
